Cat Services

While kitties are great companions, they can be transporters of germs that affect their health and sometimes, the health of their humans. The process of getting your cat healthy and keeping it that way begins with a wellness exam at our animal hospital.

Our veterinarians will do thorough check-up to determine your cat's current health status. The exam checks all major body systems, which include the eyes and ears.  The heart and lungs are checked for any abnormalities. The exam also checks for any infections, unusual growths, parasites, and a dental check-up. All of these checks help the vet identify existing or potential problems.

Depending on your cat's age, blood tests may be done to check if the body organs are functioning properly. Wellness exams also include cat vaccinations.

After the exam, our vet will discuss with you the findings and any treatment or medicine your pet may require. If surgery is needed, whether it is a routine procedure or one that needs to be planned, we can take care of it in our fully-equipped veterinary hospital. We can provide anesthesia and monitor their vital signs throughout the any surgical procedure.

Going forward, once your cat has an initial check-up, an annual exam is recommended to keep your pet healthy by checking for any signs illness and administering annual cat vaccinations.

Testimonials

Read What Our Clients Say

Wow! Thanks to all the staff at Anderson Vet Clinic. I feel like you all truly love what you do! My kitty, Lola and I always have such a pleasant experience when we come in. Fortunately, it’s usually just for a check-up, but I would not leave Lola in anyone else’s hands but yours. Thank you for your caring commitment!

Maya Smith / Los Angeles, CA

I have benefited tremendously from the care my pet received from Dr. Anderson.

John Doe / San Diego, CA

Fabio wasn’t eating the food I was giving him and I didn’t feel he was getting the nutrition he needed. Thanks to Dr. Anderson, he evaluated Fabio and his current diet to make some recommendations and now Fabio has gone from barely eating to finishing his meals and he looks healthier than ever. You clearly are an expert in your field...thanks so much!
